Welcome to our on-line store. Wharfedale Equestrian Ltd aim to provide a high quality mail order service. We are a family run business, with a strong equestrian background and we have full hands-on control over all of our stock. We make sure that you, the customer, receive the service you have come to expect.
You can view our complete catalogue here on our website, and order the products you want on-line, confident that our level of customer service is always of the highest standard. Mastercard, Visa, Solo and Maestro card orders are welcome. You can also check stock availability with our regularly updated on-line database.
Telephone orders are always welcome and we can advise you on sizes and give other information if necessary. Please telephone 01943 877466 during shop hours.
You can view the complete catalogue here on our web site. Check product availability with our frequently updated product database. If a product is labelled as OUT OF STOCK please check options on size and colour as availability varies with those options. If the product is marked as Limited Availability please expect partial delivery of multiple orders as we restock the product for you.
Please note that orders placed after 1pm Mon-Fri may not be dispatched until the following day, and we do not dispatch on saturday or Sunday.
delivery charges will be calculated by weight by the website and you will be advised at the checkout stage. We aim to use the most efficient,relaible and economical services possible.
Royal mail First class recorded delivery requiring a signature. Aims to deliver next day of ordered before 12.00 noon.
Standard Delivery by Courier
3-5 working days UK delivery is delivered by courier. ( N Ireland or Highlands and Islands add £8.99) Larger parcels above 5kg.
Signature on Delivery
For Parcel Force and Royal Mail Special Deliveries we would normally require a signature. If however, you wish your parcel to be left without a signature, you may authorize us to do so by entering this request in the Delivery Notes box at the Check Out. If the parcel should go missing once it has been delivered, Wharfedale Equestrian could not accept any responsibility for the loss, so please ensure you ask for the parcel to be left in a secure place. Alternatively you can state an alternative delivery address such as your work address, friend or relative, or request we leave with a neighbour if you are not in.
Upon receiving your order, please check items to be correct and inform Wharfedale Equestrian as soon as possible (within two days of receiving your order) of any discrepancies.
Refunds will be made for any items returned (at customers expense) which are unused and not damaged, within 14 days of receiving them. (This does not affect your statutory rights).
Where you require exchange, this will be sent postage free, (UK only). Please pack carefully to avoid damage. Also ensure that returned goods are fully insured against loss/damage.
Goods returned under complaint will not be accepted unless clean and dry. Health & Safety Act 1972.
It is our policy not to refund or exchange riding hats unless faulty. This is because we cannot be sure that the hat has not suffered any damage while out of our hands, so is for safety reasons. For this reason we ask that you can be certain that a particular hat will fit before purchase - for example that it is a a replacement for an identical that previously owned.
Prices are as advertised on the website and will only change when managed in the shop. You can be assured of the best value as our in store prices match those online.
All prices on the website are inclusive of VAT at the current rate of 20% unless the price is marked * - (this indicate the item is zero rated). In the event of any Vat increase or decrease we will adjust prices accordingly.
The shop is open six days a week (closing Mondays). We are open all Bank Holidays between 10am and 4pm except Christmas, Boxing Day and 1st/2nd Jan.
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 9.00am - 6.30pm
Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm
Saturday 9.00am - 5.00pm
Sunday 10.00am - 4.00pm
Returns & Refunds
We are happy to refund or exchange goods if returned within 14 days of purchase. This excludes personalized and customized products. This period can be extended at Christmas time, and if you find you are unable to return the goods within this period (due to holidays etc.) simply call our sales team on 01943 877466.
The goods must be returned unused, and in the condition which they were sent out. We will not accept back soiled items, so ensure when trying on rugs etc. that you use a clean sheet under the rug to ensure it does not get grubby and covered in hairs. Re-package the goods in the original packaging ensuring the original labels are attached.
Please retain your receipt as this will be needed for us to make any exchange or refund.
Return the goods to the Post Office or other courier, and please ensure you retain a certificate of posting, and that the goods are insured against loss or damage.

Please note that while we make every effort to ensure that photographs and descriptions of our products are accurate, some details, such as colour, may not be a true representation. Where the manufacturer provides an image we will endeavour to use it on the site. If no image is available we will ensure that a description of the goods is included. Please ring us if you need any further details.
These terms and conditions do not affect consumer statutory rights.
